Who is TCEL?

TCEL is a nonprofit environmental grouppromotingecological living in the Greater Toronto Chinese Community(Cantonese/Mandarin speaking).
The acronym of our name, TCEL, ispronounced"T-Cell". T-Cells are some of the most important white bloodcells in the human immune system. It protects people from infectionsand coordinates the activities of other cells in the immunesystem. Just as the human T-Cell protects human health, TCELmission is to coordinate community effort to maintain a healthyenvironment
Our services include public educationthrough mediaoutreach, workshops, information booth, website, and various specialevents

will serve as a conduit between theGovernment, main stream environmental groups and the Chinese Community
believes a balance ecological livingshould beenvironmentally, socially, and economically sustainable
believes it is not the work of acommitted few butthe lifestyle change of the mass that will make the difference inprotecting and restoring our natural environment
